Responsibilities: The Channel Manager is responsible for developing a book of partners from the ground up and driving them to generate revenue equal to or beyond the CMs determined quota. Overall responsibility is to recruit, train, develop relationships, and drive partners to generate revenue through selling Broadview Networks Voice/Data/ISP/VOIP services.

  • Identify potential partners and engage them through telemarketing, cold calling, etc.
  • Recruit new partners
  • Train new and existing partners
  • Contract negotiations
  • Partner process management, order management, issue resolution, funnel management, forecasting, partner/company liaison, assisting partners in sales efforts, etc.

  Requirements:  
  • Understanding of the CLEC industry
  • Ability to exceed quota through 3rd party sales
  • Detailed knowledge of indirect channel sales
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, issue resolution, relationship management and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Existing relationships with potential Broadview channel Partners
  • 5 plus years selling experience of Voice/Data/VOIP or similar services in the small to medium business arena
  • 1-3 years Sales Management experience managing indirect partners
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
