Award-Winning Hosted IP Phone Solution Passes New Milestone
RYE BROOK, N.Y.—September 20, 2010—Broadview Networks has rolled out its 50,000th station in service on OfficeSuite™, the company’s hosted IP phone solution. This latest milestone is part of an historic year for the OfficeSuite service, as it was named “Product of the Year” by both Communication Solutions and Unified Communications magazine, recognized with an NGN Leadership Award by NGN Magazine ,for “Outstanding Innovation in Hosted VoIP Arena” and named a business VoIP services leader for the second consecutive year by Infonetics Research.
“Our confidence in the appeal of OfficeSuite is now being reflected in its accelerated
adoption in the marketplace,” says Brian Crotty, chief operating officer of Broadview
Networks. This is a product that hits the mark for our customers. Thousands of
businesses are adopting our solution, with customers reporting back to us how it is
helping them drive increased productivity and improvements in customer satisfaction.”
OfficeSuite is Broadview’s flagship hosted IP phone solution and provides businesses
with everything an organization needs to communicate over the phone and online,
typically without any capital investment. It includes a complete “cloud-based” hosted
phone system, including phones, more than 40 calling features, an intuitive and simple-to-use Web portal to manage the service, and a robust calling plan that is shared among users at a given site. Businesses can also easily add Broadview’s FrontLine™ MPLS service to securely connect locations together in a fully meshed and QoS-enabled data network.
“Our research indicates an increasing number of businesses adopting hosted IP phone
systems,” says Diane Myers, directing analyst for Infonetics Research, “because they
get an enterprise-grade solution that also allows them to scale quickly and easily with
minimal capital investment.”
“Flexibility is critical to running an independent insurance agency, so OfficeSuite was a
natural fit for us,” says Dave Rosenkilde, vice president of Rosenkilde & Associates. “Not only can we easily add stations and change features without calling in a specialist or incurring an additional expense, OfficeSuite allows employees to use any phone, in any office, as if it were his or her own desk phone, with the same extension number and voicemail box. Add to that the convenience of the OfficeSuite USB phone for when we
are out of the office, and it’s hard to imagine why anyone would choose another solution.”
Earlier this year at the 2010 American Business Awards, Broadview Networks was awarded the top Stevie® Award for Customer Service Team of the Year. More information about OfficeSuite is available online at
